What is AI-powered stock investing?
Buying shares means owning a small piece of a company, and the price you can sell it for changes throughout the trading day. To judge whether a price move matters, investors traditionally read charts, company reports and news. That takes time, and there is far more information than any one person can follow.
On Forge Capmoor, artificial intelligence does the heavy lifting on the analysis. The engine processes price history, trading volumes, volatility, the timing of moves and how different stocks have behaved together. It looks for patterns and short-term trends using probability-based methods, and then presents what it finds in a structured way and acts according to the strategy you have chosen.
The AI is a tool. It does not know the future, and it does not remove the risk that a share price falls.
Benefits
Five reasons UK investors use the stock tools.
Continuous analysis
The engine watches markets whenever they are open, including the moments you are at work, asleep or on holiday. It does not tire, and it does not skip a reading because it was busy.
Information made simple
Instead of raw data, you see a plain dashboard: what changed, why the platform reacted and how your account stands. You do not need to know the jargon to follow it.
Control of your account
You set the amount a strategy may use, choose alerts and can pause or stop at any time. The settings are yours, and so is every decision to deposit or withdraw.
An affordable start
You can begin from £250. There is no monthly fee for platform access, and costs are listed in full on the fees page.
Human support
A personal manager walks you through setup and stays available for questions. Real people, reachable by phone and email, not only a help article.
Who it suits
The stock tools are built for three kinds of people. The first is the beginner, who wants to take part in the market without first learning to read a chart. The second is the more experienced investor, who wants a second pair of eyes that covers more shares than they can watch. The third is anyone short of time, such as parents, shift workers and people with demanding jobs, who cannot sit in front of a screen during market hours.
It is not for everyone. If you cannot afford to lose the money you would invest, if you need it within a short time or if you would find a loss distressing, shares and automated strategies are probably not right for you at present.
Who should think twice
- Anyone who would need the money for rent, bills or emergencies.
- Anyone borrowing money, or using credit, to invest.
- Anyone looking for a guaranteed return. There isn't one.
- Anyone who is not willing to review their account regularly.
How it works in four steps
1 Register
Fill in the short form. It takes about two minutes and is free.
2 Activate your account
Your manager calls, you verify your identity and choose how to fund your account.
3 Market analysis begins
The engine starts to watch the stocks in your strategy and reports through the dashboard.
4 Manage your investments
Review activity, adjust settings, add or withdraw funds whenever you wish.
Deposits, withdrawals and support
You can fund your account with a UK debit or credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or a Faster Payments bank transfer, all free of charge from our side. Withdrawals go back to the method you used or to your verified UK bank account, and take from within 24 hours to five business days depending on the method.
Before your first withdrawal we need to verify your identity, and we may ask for the source of larger amounts. Details of every method and timing are on the deposit and withdrawal page, and the rules in the withdrawal policy.

What data the AI looks at
A share price is the visible result of thousands of decisions. To make sense of it, the engine reads several layers of data at once. It starts with price history, meaning where a stock has traded over minutes, days and months. It adds trading volume, because a rise on heavy volume means something different from a rise on very few trades. It measures volatility, the size and speed of swings, and it studies relationships between stocks, such as whether two shares in the same sector tend to move together.
It also watches how these things change when conditions change, for example around the market open and close or after a major announcement. Nothing here is a crystal ball. The engine finds regularities in the past and estimates how likely they are to repeat, and it is often wrong.
A simple example
Imagine a large UK retailer's shares have drifted sideways for a week. The engine notices that trading volume has begun to rise while the price is still flat, and that similar patterns in the past were followed by a move up in roughly six cases out of ten. Under a moderate strategy it might open a small position and set a limit on how far it will let the price fall before closing it.
Four times out of ten it is wrong and the limit is reached. That is normal. What matters is whether the small losses and the gains add up over many trades, and there is no guarantee that they will. The example is illustrative only and does not describe an actual trade or result.
What you control and what the platform controls
It helps to be clear about who does what. The platform watches the market, applies the strategy and places orders. You decide whether to use it at all, how much to put in, which strategy to follow, how large a share of your balance a strategy may use, what alerts you receive and when to pause or stop. You can withdraw money whenever you like, subject to the checks in the withdrawal policy.
Your personal manager is there to explain the settings, not to make the decisions. If you are ever asked to hand over control of your account to someone else, refuse.
Getting comfortable before you deposit
You are under no pressure to fund your account on the day you register. Many clients spend a few days reading the guides, asking their manager questions and looking at the dashboard before they put in any money. That is what we would suggest, and there is no time limit or countdown on your registration.
The costs, in plain terms
There is no monthly fee. Trading commission is up to 0.58% of each transaction, and where a currency conversion is involved up to 1.50% may apply. Spreads, the gap between the buying and selling price, vary with each stock and with market conditions. All of it is shown before you confirm a trade. Because commissions are charged on every trade, a strategy that trades often will pay more in total, so ask your manager how active a strategy is before you choose it.
The risks, in plain terms
Share prices can fall sharply and stay down. A company can lose value or fail, a whole sector can fall out of favour and a market-wide shock can hit nearly everything at once. Automation adds its own risks: a rule that worked well can stop working, a data problem can cause a wrong decision and a fast move can be missed. You may get back less than you put in, and you can lose all of it. The platform can pause trading in volatile conditions, which may help in some situations but is no guarantee. Please read the risk disclosure in full.

How do I get started?

What is the minimum amount?
£250 on the Basic plan. Other plans start higher and add features such as priority service.
What does the AI actually do?
It analyses prices, volumes and volatility, looks for patterns and short-term trends using probability-based methods and acts on the strategy you have selected. It does not predict the future.
Can I control what happens?
Yes. You can pause or stop strategies at any time, set the amount a strategy may use and choose your alerts.
Can I lose money?
Yes. Share prices fall as well as rise, and automated strategies can lose money. Read the risk disclosure first.
How do withdrawals work?
You request them from your dashboard, and they are paid within the time shown for the method you choose, once identity checks are complete.
Who can I ask if I am stuck?
Your personal manager, or email [email protected]. See personal support.
